3rd Annual In-Person Event is tomorrow. Instructions below!
The day is almost here – this Saturday, July 16, the Team Arnav Foundation will hold our 3rd annual event at Moravian Acadamy’s Merle-Smith Campus. If you haven't already, we encourage you to participate if you are local or donate if it is easier. As you set your alarms, dust off your sneakers, and lay out your best race gear in preparation for tomorrow, we wanted to take the time to preview some of the exciting things we’ll have to share with you tomorrow – and remind you of a few things that will set you up for success in the morning.
PRE-EVENT: REGISTRATION ACTIVITIES

What: Team Arnav’s 3rd annual event
When: July 16th, 7:30 AM-1:00 PM EDT
7:30-9:00 On-site event registration (open to all pre-registered and walk-ins)
9:00-10:30 On-site event starts
10:30-1:00 EDT Post-event celebration! Including food trucks, a dunk tank, tie-dye stations, raffles, gift baskets, and merchandise.

Why: Arnav Krishna, a 16-year-old boy with dreams of becoming an Olympic cyclist, lost his battle withOsteosarcoma in 2018. Since then, his parents, friends, and twin brother, Dhruv, have started the Team Arnav Foundation in his honor. Our mission: to eradicate Pediatric Osteosarcoma.
T-Shirts: All participants who registered on or before June 27th will get a free Team Arnav T-shirt while checking in. For participants who registered after June 27th, we will have a few extras which will be handed out on a first come first serve basis, until stock runs out.
EVENT ACTIVITIES
5K RUN/ 1 MILE WALK The 5K run is a timed event that will have three prize categories, with a male and female winner: 25 & over, 18-25, and under 18. Prizes, courtesy of Keystone Running, and medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd finishers in each category. The race starts promptly at 9 a.m. The 1-mile event is a leisure walk that starts immediately after the 5K event.
POST-EVENT: FUN ACTIVITIES
DUNK TANK A new addition to our event, get in line to dunk some familiar and new faces in the tank – be ready to be entertained! RAFFLES/GIFT BASKETS Buy tickets for 50/50 or enter them for a chance to win one of our gift baskets! We’re offering a pet basket, wine basket, Italian basket, a family fun basket, and more! TIE-DYE STATION Customize a white event shirt to your liking – and head home with a colorful souvenir to sport year-round! ICE CREAM Cool off after the race with a scoop of your favorite flavor, courtesy of Batch Microcreamery. MERCHANDISE Stop by one of our volunteer-run merchandise stands to pick up some Team Arnav swag, new and vintage, to represent and contribute to a great cause. FOOD Pizza will be available to all participants for a nominal fee to refuel after the event. In addition, free nutrition and hydration stations courtesy of our generous sponsors will be scattered around the event.
